Love Locations - We are the people behind Brixton Warehouse

It’s our 7-year anniversary, so we thought we should say hello and celebrate with you! We are a business made of family & friends. Here we are - Sam & I pictured with Jason, our tech guru & advisor on all things digital. Thanks to him, we have our wonderful website.

We wouldn’t be here without you, so a big thank you to all our clients, creators, local artists, photographers, art directors, film makers, producers, yogis, life drawing students & models, location owners, chefs and party hosts, DJs and party goers, balloon artists, singers, dancers, family, friends and entrepreneurs for your ongoing support.

About Us

We are family - my mum & I

Sam has worked in the industry for twenty years plus, originally as a model booker and then moving into shoot production at Racing Green. She has headed up shoot production at creative and advertising agencies with clients such as M&S, John Lewis & House of Fraser to mention just a few.

I grew up on shoots and eventually moved into production, working at creative agencies and studios around London. I’m also an artist, so our new studio (which you’ll read about below) has become my musical home. I originally trained as a graphic designer at the local BRIT School and UAL. Following in the family footsteps, I began a career in the creative industry, and the rest is history.

Together, we have lovingly sourced and curated an amazing collection of locations, spaces, and event venues that we love for shoots, films, and events.

The Story Behind Brixton Warehouse

Welcome to our creative home! Brixton Warehouse serves as both our Love Locations HQ and so much more. After working in the creative industry for so long, we knew there was a real need for an accessible studio space in South London. While there are some fantastic studios around, demand is incredibly high, and if you’re based south of the river, it’s such a relief not to have to trek across to the east every time you need a creative space.

With so many studios closing their doors, we’re proud to offer a welcome addition to the south London creative scene. Our dream has always been to create a genuine creative hub - not just for shoots, but for all kinds of events and collaborations. You’ll find us hosting everything from intimate music sessions and exciting brand launches to relaxing wellbeing workshops and some legendary parties.

How We Discovered the Studio

Sam was looking for a new venue to teach her established Yoga South classes, and she happened to do a life drawing class the night the last owners were moving out of the warehouse. Things were meant to be! We moved in a few weeks later and decided to love the location and set up a studio space there. So Yoga South has a new home, and we’ve also launched life drawing at Brixton Studio too - if you have an artistic streak, check us out!
